I need to switch my long distance carrier?
Absolutely
not. Callback World does not affect your current telephone
or long distance arrangements in any way. Calls are initiated
by reaching our network via your access number. You may continue
to use whichever other companies you wish.

Are
there any additional fees or hidden charges?
The
answer is NO. Callback World does not charge any additional
fees. The ONLY fee we charge is $1.50 per month maintenance fee
for the optional toll-free service for businesses only
- nothing else. There are no monthly fees, no hidden fees,
no cancellation fees, and no first minute connection fees.
In addition, there are no local taxes or VAT tax to pay when
using our service. We are an American company.

Can
I cancel my service at any time?
Yes.
There are no contracts or monthly minimums with Callback World.
Our clients are not charged a single cent if they do not use
our service. There are no penalties for canceling your
service or not using the service for an extended period of
time. We thank our clients for using our service, not
penalize them

When
do I get billed for my calls?
Calls
are generally charged once a month to the credit card you
provided at the time you apply. An initial credit limit is
established at the outset and if that amount is approached
within a given month we will charge your credit card and reset
your limit so that you are not cut off from a call. If you
think you need a high limit at the outset please let us know.
If there are credit concerns that do not permit us to give
you a high enough credit limit you may may wire funds or use
Western Union.

What is 6-second increment billing?
Six-second
billing simply means that you will be billed in six second
increments not rounded off to the next minute. Most of our
competitors and foreign companies charge you for an entire
minute if you are on a call for only 12 seconds. We will charge
you accurately only for the time you spent on the phone. To
promptly disconnect at the end of a call press the pound sign
twice (##).

How
long does it take to establish Callback World service?
You
will receive your callback number within 48 hours of your
order being processed - often much sooner. Once you receive
your number, you can begin using the service and saving money.
Once you receive your activation information you can go to
our login page and register to use our Online Account Manager.
A user name and password will be sent to right away. Businesses
who wish an optional toll free number should expect it in
about a week. No new lines or equipment are required.

How
do I change or add a new callback number?
You
may change your callback number (the number you wish to call
from) at any time by either calling your access number or
you may change it via the internet by accessing your Online
Account Manager.
Changes are instantaneous.

How
do I make a call with Callback World service?
-
When
you set up an account with Callback World
we assign you a phone access number. Each access number
is programmed to call you back on a specific phone number
of yours - your callback number.

When
you want to make a call dial your access number as if
you were calling the US directly. From most countries
you would dial 001 plus the access number. After one ring
hang up the phone. Our system will call you back immediately
at your callback number.

Answer
the phone. You are now connected to a 100% fiber
optic network in the US. Dial your destination number.
The connection will be clear.
- For
calls to the US, Canada or Caribbean dial: 1 + area
code + number.
- For
calls to other countries dial: country code + city
code + number.
- In
either case do NOT dial '011' in front of the destination
number.
- The
system will prompt you on how to dial or program your
speed dial numbers.
- To
disconnect the line, simply hang up the phone or press the
pound sign twice (##).

How
do I use the International Toll Free numbers?
Of
course, you can use callback from any country. But, as an
added value we now have international toll free numbers in
quite a few countries and, more are on the way. We will supply
you with a list of toll free numbers and countries in which
they are available. Simply dial the supplied number, enter
your PIN when prompted and dial your destination. You should
know that using our toll free numbers is often more expensive
than using callback from a land phone. However, in those countries
where available it is often less expensive than callback from
a cell phone! And, you can use these toll free numbers from
land or cell at the same price. (Note that in Italy you cannot
use the toll free from a cell phone.) Check our rates
page for all the rates. Even if you rely on callback for maximum
savings these numbers are ultra convenient as you move around
- use like a low priced calling card.

Can
I call somewhere other than the USA?
Yes,
you certainly can. To place a call to any country outside
the USA, initiate a callback as normal, enter the appropriate
country code and city code at the prompt. Example:
If you wanted to call Spain from Italy you would dial your
access number. Let the phone ring one time and hang
up. When you receive a callback you would simply enter
(country code) + (city code) + telephone number, followed
by the pound sign. It's that easy! Remember that you
are dialing as if you are already in the U.S. because our
network is in the U.S.

I
understand there are 2 types of toll free numbers that would
reach me. What's the difference? Are they really toll-free?
Yes,
both types are toll free. Individuals
qualify for our PIN2DEST toll free service and the good news
is that there in no monthly fee. Family members or friends
in the US dial and 800#, enter an assigned 10 digit PIN and
are connected directly to you anywhere in the world. Businesses
can alternately get an optional dedicated toll free
number for a fee of $1.50 per month. Callers dial a toll free
number and are connected to the business anywhere in the world.
It is nearly a necessity for businesses outside the US or
Canada who have clients in those countries.
In
either case you pay for the calls, not the caller. Rates are
the same as for callback.

Yes,
you can refer your family and friends to us and they too can
enjoy the great savings that Callback World has to offer.
Callers dialing from the US do not need to use callback (though
they can). They can simply dial a toll free number, enter
a PIN and a destination number. Speed dialing makes it even
easier. Since there are no monthly fees nor minimums there
are no expenses associated with each family member having
an account. And as an added benefit calls from one state
to another are only 8 cents a minute!

happens if I move back to the USA and want to cancel my account?
You
may send us an email at any time to cancel your account. There
is no further obligation. However, you may wish to retain
your account once back in the States if you anticipate a need
for inexpensive calling to other countries or within the US.
Use your US toll free access number like an inexpensive calling
card! You can use our service from just about anywhere.
